VIPs view the DOG shot, an 81 kiloton atomic detonation wearing safety goggles. They are sitting on Adirondack chair of the Officers Beach Club patio on Enewetak Island. The blast wave arrived at the location of the VIPs some 45 seconds after the initially silent flash. April 7, 1951.
