William Knudsen was President and General Manager, Chevrolet Motor Company, 1924-1937. Prior to Chevrolet, he worked for Ford from 1911-1921, during the formative development of the modern assembly line. He emigrated to the U.S. from Denmark in 1900 at age 22. (CSU_2015_8_565)
