World War I Victory Arch, on Fifth Avenue near Madison Sqaure Park on March 25, 1919. The 27th Infantry Division marches through a Roman styled triumphal as a crowd cheers them. The 27th broke the Hindenburg line during the Battle of the Somme, forcing a German retreat. They had a final confrontation with Germans at the Selle River, followed shortly by the Armistice
