Cast polished steel fire tongs with a cast decorative brass handle, the handle with a twisted turned shaft and a floral finial, part of a set of fire tools including a shovel and a poker, each with a registration lozenge mark and the letter H which dates them to 1843, possibly made in Sheffield by H and W Turner
