Pyrrhus fighting the Romans at Beneventum

Pyrrhus, King of Epirus, fighting the Romans, led by the consul Manius Curius Dentatus, at the Battle of Beneventum, near Benevento in southern Italy. The battle was inconclusive, but Pyrrhus afterwards made the decision to end his campaign in Italy and return to Epirus in Greece
