Antonios Michelidakis - Elected President of Cretan Assembly
Following the Theriso Revolt of 1905/6, an agreement between the former rebels of Theriso and the Cretan Assembly allowed for the creation of a constituent assembly led by Antonios Michelidakis (pictured here), who in July 1907, became the elected president of the Cretan Assembly, defeating Konstantinos Foumis by 34 to 31 votes
