Bakewell, Derbyshire - Joseph Waterfall (1840-1902), Noted Disabled Poet - The Poet of the Peak'. He cut out words and pieces from printed pages, re-assembling these to form his own broadsheets and poetry which he sold to tourists and visitors. Tragically died in a fire at his almshouse home (St. John's Hospital Almshouses) in 1902.
