The British Royal Family's Golden State Coach
The British Royal Family's Golden State Coach, used for royal coronations decorated with paintings by Giovanni Cipriani including the royal arms on the upper back panel, ornamented with the Order of St. George and the floral emblems of Great Britain. Commissioned in 1760, it was built in the London workshops of Samuel Butler. As the coach is suspended from braces, it lacks more modern comfort
