Dickins and Jones, Regent Street, London. Opened under the name Dickins, Smith and Stevens, selling women's underwear in 1835. Changed name to Dickins and Jones in 1856. Bought by Harrods in 1914. Acquired by House of Fraser during its takeover of Harrod's Group in 1959. Closed and sold to property developers in June 2005
