Dongdang, Beijing, China - The Ketteler Memorial
A paifang or "memorial gate" - The Ketteler Memorial which was erected at the location where German career Diplomat Clemens August Freiherr von Ketteler (1853-1900) was killed during the Boxer Rebellion. In 1918, the Ketteler Memorial was officially abolished, moved to the present-day Zhongshan Park and renamed "The Victory of Justice Gate" (later re-named "The Protection of Peace Gate")
