The Felling of Dimmock's Pottery Works Chimney, Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire on June 15th, 1905. The demolition of the great chimney was almost an event for a local holiday and was watched by huge crowds of people. Afterwards postcards of the event were sold and here is an example
