Greece, Crete - Chania - The Quayside and Mosque. The Turkish Mosque Yiali Tzami (or Giali Tzami) dominates the Venetian harbour of Chania - an imposingly large, square building with a great dome supported by four flying arches. The minaret (pictured) was demolished in the early 20th century. ~~
