Harry MacDonald - Woodcarver's Shop - Woolmer Green
Harry MacDonald at work in his Woodcarver's Shop - Woolmer Green, Knebworth, Hertfordshire. MacDonald (a Yorkshireman) came south and brought this cottage for £1, 000 in 1937. He built his model village over the years and also carved serious subjects. Macdonald died on 23rd April 1971 and the cottage was (very sadly in my opinion) demolished in 1981
