The iron pillar at the Qutb complex, Mehrauli, Delhi, India
The fascinating ancient iron pillar of Delhi, constructed by a "King Chandra", probably Chandragupta II (reigned c. 375-415 CE), which now stands in the Qutb complex at Mehrauli in Delhi, India. The pillar is remarkably un-corroded, a testament to the skill of the craftsman who cast it over 1500 years ago
