Ivor Novello (1893 -1951), born David Ivor Davies - a Welsh composer and actor who became one of the most popular British entertainers of the first half of the 20th century. This card was signed by Novello (on the reverse) during his run in "The Rat" at the Nottingham Playhouse in 1927
