Army before and during World War II. Leader of the Kodo-ha (Imperial Way) faction, an ultra-nationalistic group active in the 1930s. He strongly advocated the importance of character building through rigid mental and physical discipline.
(right) General Nobuyuki Abe (1875-1953) - general in the Imperial Japanese Army, Governor-General of Korea, and 36th Prime Minister of Japan from 30th August 1939 to 16th January 1940
