The entrance to Hospital Reinando S.M. Alfonso XIII at Melilla, Morocco. The second Rif War was a conflict in 1909 in Morocco around Melilla. The fighting involved local Rifains and the Spanish Army, who had tried (unsuccessfully) to gain control over the mining area close to Melilla. This hospital appears to be caring for Spanish soldiers injured during the campaign
