Morton, North Yorkshire - The Aegir
Morton, North Yorkshire - The Aegir - a tidal surge on the River Trent. It takes its name from Aegir, the Norse god of the ocean. A phenomena also seen on a number of rivers, notably the River Severn (where the bore can be traversed by surfboard!)
