Pancake Scramble watched by Royal Family, Westminster School
In March 1919, the Royal Family went to Westminster School to see the famous scramble for the largest piece of the pancake tossed by the chef and to hand the winner a sovereign. The scramble is said to have originated in the reign of King Henry VIII
