The Parcs at low tide - Dieppe, France. These constructions of long supported poles and igh nets were arranged as a trap for fish, which remained within the parc until low tide when they could be gathered. Permission for construction of a parc was required from the Dieppe Maritime Register, before fishermen could start their construction
