Patriotic Postcard in favour of the Constitution
Patriotic Postcard in favour of the Turkish Constitution. The revolution of 1908 resulted in the Sultan restoring the constitution - it having been suspended for more than 30 years. Enver Pasha (who become a Major in 1906) became a member of the CUP (The Commitee of Union and Progress) and revolted against the suspended constitution.
