Monument de la Reconnaissance - Lourdes, France (Peace Monument, called successively the Interallied Monument, of Victory, then of Recognition). Inside, the walls were covered with thousands of plaques bearing the names of soldiers from all nations killed in the Great War. Rather sadly demolished in 1956 to make room for the Underground Basilica
