Pilgrim Plymouth - Souvenir Card Pack
Massasoit - a statue by the American sculptor Cyrus Dallin on Coles Hill in Plymouth, Massachusetts. It was completed in 1921 to mark the three hundredth anniversary of the Pilgrims landing. The sculpture is meant to represent the Pokanoket leader Massasoit welcoming the Pilgrims on the occasion of the first Thanksgiving. Plymouth is the oldest English settlement in America and the cradle of the Republic. On December 11, 1620 the Pilgrim Fathers established a government at Plymouth based on prnciples which were the gensis of American institutions
