The Rossio (Pedro IV Square - Praca de D. Pedro IV) in Lisbon, Portugal. Situated in the Pombaline Downtown area and the setting of popular revolts and celebrations, bullfights and executions throughout the history of the city. The bronze statue seen on top of a column in the middle of the square is of Pedro IV, who was also the first Emperor of Brazil (as Pedro I).~~
