Two pure Arab sires of Queen Victoria
Hammon (the chesnut horse) bred in the stud of the King of Prussia at Trakehn and presented to her Majesty (Queen Victoria) by the King in 1844. Tajar, bought in 1844 from Count Hatzfeld having been rearing at Twenark in Mecklenberg by Count Hahn. Pictured standing at one of the private entrances to Windsor Castle
