Ruins of the Sans-Souci Palace at Milot, Haiti
The overgrown ruins of the Sans-Souci Palace was the royal residence of King Henri I of Haiti, Queen Marie-Louise and their two daughters at Milot, Haiti. A severe earthquake in 1842 destroyed a considerable part of the palace and devastated the nearby city of Cap-Haitien and it was never rebuilt
