Russia - River Shilka. Flows north east from the mountains to the east of Lake Baikal thus providing river traffic link to Khabarovsk and onwards to the Pacific Ocean at Nikolaevsk. Before the rivers freeze in winter the Shilka boats are taken to their winter harbour alongside the river as depicted here
