Sanliurfa (often simply known as Urfa in daily language), formerly cited as Edessa in in Aramaic, Riha in Kurdish, and Urhay in Armenian) is a city in south-eastern Turkey, and the capital of Sanliurfa Province. This postcard dates from the French occupation of this area (hence the French caption)
