Shodfriars Hall, South Street, Boston, Lincolnshire - despite appearances, little is actually left of the original structure following major restoration in 1874. It was also at this time that the building was given its name, being sited next to Shod Friars Lane. The original building, probably 15th-century, was of the highest standard and would seem on the evidence of the continuous ground-floor arcade to have been a guildhall
