Sinaia - Romania - Peles Castle
Sinaia, Romania. A mountain resort in Prahova County, the town was named after the Sinaia Monastery (itself named after the Biblical Mount Sinai), around which it was built. King Carol I's summer Palace, Peles Castle, is close to the town and interior views are shown on this postcard. On the left are the apartments of Prince Ferdinand and on the right is the Tavern, found in the Great Tower
