Suffolk - Southwold Jack - St Edmund's Church
St Edmund's Church, Southwold, Suffolk - the 15th century clock jack, which stands at the west end. He holds an axe and bell which he uses to strike the time. "Southwold Jack", is one of the symbols of the local Adnam's brewery. Mentioned by Shakespeare, Jack's armour is that of a soldier from the Wars of the Roses in the 1400s
