Summer House (Groote Schuur), Cape Town, South Africa. Situated on the slopes below Table Mountain. Now in the grounds of the Middle Campus of the University of Cape Town. Built around 1760 by the Dutch East India Company and redesigned by Sir Herbert Baker in 1894. The Summer House lies on the main axis through the University of Cape Town at the top of Japonica Walk
