The Newport Transporter Bridge - a transporter bridge crossing the River Usk in Newport, South Wales (Monmouthshire). A Grade I listed structure, designed by French engineer Ferdinand Arnodin. End-on view of the gondola or car'. The bridge still looks (and operates) in the same way to this day (after a few refurbishments along the way!)
