Turkish house with Cumba
Traditional Turkish wooden house. The upper rooms overhanging the street are called Cumbas, designed in order to catch any breath of air in the heat of the summer and by tradition there was always a cushion for a cat and even today many people of Istanbul call their cats Cumba
