Wheel worked by a dog for turning the roasting spit - used until the end of the first quarter of the 19th century. This example was the property of the late Sir John Williams, Bart. and was formerly fixed in the Hall - part kitchen, part Dining Room - of Pilrhoth, Llanstephan, Carmarthenshire and removed only when the house was demolished
