WW1 - General Gourand and General Bailloud in Dardanelles
WW1 - (right) General Henri Joseph Eugene Gouraud (Commander of the French Expeditionary Corps) (1867-1946) and (left, seated) General Maurice Camille Bailloud (1847-1921) in the Fort of Sedd-el-Bahr (Sedd el Bahr) in the district of Eceabat, Canakkale Province, Dardanelles, Turkey. Gourand was wounded on 30 June 1915 and subsequently lost his right arm - during his convalescence, Bailloud replaced him at the head of the Corps
