Zoroastrian Fire Temple Baku, Azerbaijan
Zoroastrian Fire Temple (Ateshgah), Surakhani, Baku, Azerbaijan. Abandoned when oil and gas was found in the locality, the site has been prefectly preserved and is now a national heritage monumnet. The healing fire was sent by Zoroastrian priests from the Temple to locations where it was required to cleanse and burn away sickness
