19th century brass and wood ship's wheel, made in Belfast

MARITIME: A good 19th century brass and hard wood ship's wheel with the legend NORTHUMBRIAN MAID. BELFAST. 1843 in the brass central boss (closeup), on display stand. Northumbrian Maid was a bespoke sailing ship rigged as a schooner, built in Newcastle in 1843 by George Hall, Thomas Hills and Robert Fulton. She was wrecked at the entrance to Campbeltown harbour.
