Earlier Titanic, Certificate of Discharge, William Edwards
Earlier ship named Titanic - a rare Certificate of Discharge issued to Seaman William Edwards, following his discharge from the ship as an able bodied seaman on 4 January 1890. Edwards was 29 years old at the time of discharge and had served on Titanic since 4 November 1889. This earlier Titanic was built in Belfast in 1888. A steel-hulled steamship owned by the Ulidian Steamship Navigation Company Ltd. of 9 Station Street, Belfast, the ship was 280 feet in length and 1016 tons
