A letter dated 17 April 1957 from Walter Lord, author of the book A Night to Remember on which the film of the same name was based (released in 1958), to Mrs Sylvia Lightoller at Ducks Walk, Twickenham (spelt Turckenham in the letter), Middlesex. Lord expresses his admiration for Charles Lightoller and mentions his efforts in getting Lightoller's book about the Titanic reprinted
