RMS Carpathia, cabin deck plan Cunard
RMS CARPATHIA: Extremely rare Cabin/Deck deck plan for Cunard's famous Carpathia. This plan illustrates her modest size and shows that finding a space for all of Titanic's survivors would have been a mammoth task, indeed three of the richest women on board (Mrs. Astor, Mrs. Widener, and Mrs. Thayer) were all given berths in the captain's cabin. Interestingly, the officers and pursers rooms are marked as are all major points of interest. The comparisons with Titanic are stark with Carpathia being almost a throwback to 19th century ships but most importantly she saved over 700 lives on April 15th 1912. This is without doubt one of the hardest liner deck plans to obtain. Measures approximately 18 ins. x 11ins
