RMS Lusitania - Archibald correspondence
RMS Lusitania - archive of correspondence relating to the sinking of the Lusitania. The letters date from 18 May 1915 and relate to a painting by Rubens, The Holy Family, which was bought for £4000 and was being transported on the ship by a Mr Williamson. This letter is froms G Archibald, Paris, asking if Cunard have any knowledge of its whereabouts
