RMS Olympic - stateroom cabin door
RMS Olympic - rare original external door from Louis XIV stateroom C62. Sold with original gilt door handle. The exterior is painted white as used on board and is decorated with stylised acanthus leaves. The interior is decorated in a four panel relief - unpainted, showing natural oak. Provenance Henry Aldridge, Marquis of Granby dispersal sale 14-4-2000. 79 x 26 inches
