RMS Titanic - from inventory of items recovered from bodies by cable ship Mackay-Bennett - a late Victorian 18 carat yellow gold round collar or dress stud, the raised capstan shaped centre engraved with stylised scrolls on a line-textured ground, the base and back plain, the stud with contemporary hallmarks for Chester 1899, however the sponsor's mark is worn, probably A.M.B. for Abraham Meyer Blanckensee. The base measures...ae ins. diameter, the top 9/32ins. diameter, 1/4ins. high overall. The stud weighs 1.1 grams gross
