RMS Titanic - an original North American Telegraph Company Cablegram from the Snyders, dated 12 February 1912, sent from Gibraltar to T W Stevenson, Portland Avenue, Minneapolis, USA, from Nelle. The message is simply, Albumen. 7:35am. A handwritten note reflects that the message was telephoned at 8:30am. There are additional period markings and stamps. A later pen notation (incorrectly) states that it was a cable to Nelle's father after the Titanic sinking. The message was actually sent while the Snyders were on their European honeymoon. 7 x 8 inches. The reverse of the Cablegram contains terms and conditions. Albumen, the word in Nelle's message, is telegram shorthand code indicating that accommodations have been found
