White metal mantel clock, RNYC Fujiyama
MARITIME: A rare white metal mantel clock, RNYC FUJIYAMA in blue enamel and two flag logos belonging to the Royal Clyde and Royal Northern Yacht Club. With rope twist surround separating the legends and logos. It measures 7 ins. diameter and 2oins. deep. The clock movement BREVETE SGDG. Fujiyama was a 160-ton steam yacht built by John Reid of Whiteinch, Glasgow in 1895. She was built for Andrew Coats of the Paisley Thread dynasty. Coats was a member of the Royal Clyde and Royal Northern Yacht Club whose burgees are shown on the clock
