White Star Line, RMS Olympic at Southampton Docks after collision on 20 September 1911 - photographic postcard, postally used on 11th October 1911 (3 weeks after incident). RMS Olympic was a British ocean liner. The lead ship of the White Star Line's trio of Olympic-class liners (in addition to her ill-fated sister ships Titanic and Britannic). Olympic had a career spanning 24 years from 1911 to 1935
