White Star Line, RMS Titanic, blue and gilt saucer (back)
White Star Line, RMS Titanic, rare cobalt blue and gilt saucer (back) with gilt Oceanic Steam Navigation Company OSNC initials to centre. Made by Spode and carrying the numbers 4332 and 580303 denoting registrations in 1911. This pattern is widely acknowledged as the rarest from the White Star Line and examples have been found at the Titanic's wreck site. Its use on Titanic is unknown but suggestions include presentation china or part of a millionaire's service
