White Star Line, section of SS Nomadic handrail
White Star Line, unusual section of SS Nomadic handrail given to the vendor by Yvon Vincent, who was Nomadic's last French owner. This piece comes from the rear of the tender's upper deck. It was removed when works were being carried out on SS Nomadic (tender to RMS Titanic) to convert her so that people could be welcomed on board according to 1980s French rules. The handrail weighs more than 4kg and measures approximately 40ins. x 42ins. x 4 ins
