White Star Line, SS Laurentic - original work by Neil Egginton. Launched in 1908, the ship was in service from 1909 and 1917, when she sank as an armed merchant cruiser after hitting two mines. Seen here slowly sinking by the stern with four lifeboats at sea. 15 x 11 inches
